The much awaited UNIQLO store will open it’s doors for the first time on Friday 17th November, at Robinsons Place, Tacloban.
UNIQLO Philippines COO Katsumi Kubota said that the company is planning to open at least 200 outlets in the country by 2020, when he was interviewed at the SM City Clark in 2015 during the third anniversary of the global retail brand. It started with five branches five years ago and now has 45 stores in the Philippines, this being the first in the Eastern Visayas.
UNIQLO prides itself on a business model that unifies the entire clothes-making process from planning through design, production and retail. They create high-quality, innovative clothing that is universal in design and comfort and made for everyone, everywhere.
The company is keen to leverage today’s increasingly digital world to communicate directly with customers via their innovative smart phone app and transform consumer desires into actual products. Via their UNIQLO app, the company are currently offering a ₱300 discount on purchases over ₱2000, redeemable during your birth month. So November babies, this is you chance!
The opening of this new store, along with many new outlets at Robinsons Place in the run up to Christmas, as well as the highly anticipated opening of the new Robinsons North Mall in December, continues Tacloban’s rise as the premier shopping destination for the region.
