The Toyota Motors Philippines, through atty. Rommel Gutierrez, First Vice President, Government & Industry Affairs, Corporate Affairs Group, has initiated a Customer Satisfaction Campaign for Junction Block Terminal of certain Toyota Avanza vehicles.
The campaign covers 977 Toyota Avanza units officially sold in the Philippines.
According to Gutierrez, for the affected units, the Junction Block was improperly assembled. This may reduce contact surface of the Junction Block Terminal and Wire Harness. At this condition, there is a possibility that the blower fan motor may become inoperative.
As a preventive measure, Toyota will inspect the Junction Block and, if necessary, install an additional sub-wire harness, AT NO COST to the customers.
Toyota Motors Philippines will write to the affected customers and invite them to bring their vehicles to an authorized Toyota Dealer for servicing.
In Eastern Visayas, the Toyota dealer (TOYOTA TACLOBAN, LEYTE, INC.) is located along Maharlika Highway in Brgy 71, Naga-Naga, Tacloban City. For further information and advice, concerned customers may call Toyota Tacloban, Leyte, Inc. at (053) 325-2222 or (053) 832-8854.
